It is like we fail as a nation to deliver a book for students and parents that will explain, using bullet points to show simple steps, the course to take and time frame expected should students and parents need to deal with ongoing and unresolved issues in schools.
and should these steps not go according to plan, more steps and the actions that is then required to resolve these issues outside the principal's office, to allow students to return to their lessons in peace. Included, also in this book, exactly who this action is required from? B.O.M ? Education System? Minister for Education, Ombudsman for Children? Solicitor? Others? and further steps to take should they also deny students' rights to a peaceful and meaningful education. .. ... ....
If I had a book and in this book were the questions that need to be asked about issues students and parents might experience on their journey through the Education System and this book also had the answers to these questions and I was holding this book in my hand,
I would be happy to share it! Very happy!
In fact, because I am a mother and this book is a way to help other mothers, all parents and guardians, I would be over the moon to be able to bring these answers, as the saying goes, to the world and its mother.
Indeed, I would include it in every student's book list, I would put this book in every bookshop the length and breadth of Ireland, make it available to buy online in every corner of the internet and I would also make sure every Library has a copy available at all time.
The rule of thought; hopefully this book would deflect the need for students, parents and educators to ever be involved with such needless and unnecessary conduct while at school, or at least have the correct answer readily available to hand, if needs be.
Why is there no such book when this book is being written repeatedly every day in schools, by students, parents and the Education System, not just in Ireland, but in schools all over the world?
Think of all the books that are bought by parents for students when starting school, English books, Irish books, Maths books, Spanish books, Geography books, History books and what about school uniforms and sundries, trips here there and everywhere, P.E kits, the list is ongoing throughout the school year.
Parents buy all these books and more each school year, from the year a child starts school right up until they leave education and yet, somehow we fail as a nation of parents and educators to deliver a book that would help with the mental health, emotional intelligence, their safety, overall happiness and well-being of our students in Ireland, but why do we?
People like to help each other, people feel for each other, this is a small island of Ireland that we live on and people like to tell stories and write books so what is the problem with writing this book?
Together students, parents, educators and the Education System could write a book. A book with tried and tested methods achieved by students, parents and the Education System when dealing with issues that can arise in schools, methods that really do work, written clearly in easy to follow steps.
A book based on the same rule for every school, all students and parents deserve the same treatment from the Education System, don't they.?
The aim of a book like this; is to give, regardless of who one is, what and who one knows, regardless if one person dislikes the other, regardless if parents have the principal's phone number on speed dial or parents have yet to meet the principal in person, this book could offer equality and give a better chance to all our students, parents and the Education System for a happy ever after ending for our students?,
the name of the book could be?,
WHAT’S THE SECRET?
