CONNECTING ALL FAMILIES IN EDUCATION.

Welcome
to Our Site

Welcome visitors to Families in Education site, the site that aims to bring parents of families in education together as a collective group of people who have a common goal, to educate their families in the best and least stressful way possible.

Do not mention bullying or you will get me started and I won't know when to stop, that is the good thing about me.

Let's get started...

 CONNECTING ALL FAMILIES IN EDUCATION.
“Family is not an important thing. It's everything.” – Michael J. Fox.

“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.” – Chinese Proverb

First, things first.

One must be allowed to learn.

If school is not for everyone, then why do we send everyone to school without giving it a second thought?

Is it for the fun?

Is it a test of endurance?

One must remember;

“We are not the survival of the fittest. We are the survival of the nurtured.”
— Louis Cozolino

Do you, as the reader, the parent, the person living in society, do you believe that it is fair?

Do you believe it is an honest thing to do, to send children to school while we are living in a society that accepts school is not for everyone?

Do you believe that young people at the age of thirteen, fourteen, fifteen or sixteen years of age finding out that school has no place for them, do you believe these young people find it funny or fair?

What is the truth about the young people that school has no place for them?

Not because the young people in question do not desire an education.

They do, the same as all young people.

All young people are dreaming of a bright, bold and brilliant future but because they are dealing with issues of #bullying that remain untreated and unresolved these young people have stopped learning and are trying their best to survive in hostile environments

Sadly, there seems to be nobody who is doing anything to stop their suffering and to allow them to return to their lessons in peace.

They are surviving and they are in survival mode, they are alone.

1. What happens these young people when they stop learning and concentrate all their time and energy into surviving?

2. Who intervenes?

3. Who is there to safeguard these young people?

4. Where can they and their families go for help to stop their suffering?

If help never arrives,

what do they do,

stay in school?

or

leave school?

Changing school, home-schooling, or any other bright ideas may not always be an option or present themselves as readily as one would like to believe they do.

It is overwhelming, it is heart-breaking, it is a young person's education that is on the line, it is their hopes, dreams and plans.

It is their future.

It is their life.

"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."

- e. e. cummings.

This quote applies to education.

Ultimately, leadership (educational authorities) is not about glorious crowning acts. It's about keeping your team (parents, students, educators) focused on a goal (every child's right to a full, proper, and meaningful education) and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high (the future of this planet) and the consequences really matter. (the chance of an education) It is about laying the groundwork for others' success, and then standing back and letting them shine." (our young people shine) Chris Hadfield
